Making sure no one is left behind

We’ve supported our colleagues at the Malaysian Red Crescent Society to deliver COVID-19 vaccinations.

Many migrants in Malaysia were fearful of getting a vaccine because they didn’t have migration papers, but without a vaccine they weren’t able to work.

Malaysian Red Crescent volunteers who had lived experience of being migrants, and therefore the trust of migrant communities, were able to ensure no one was left behind when it came to getting the vaccine. Through their work they ensured thousands of people who otherwise would have missed out were vaccinated.

Hear from the volunteers as they tell their stories of reaching out to communities and ensuring vaccine access for all.
