The Generations Lunch is a gathering that unites women - mothers, daughters, nieces, aunties, grandmothers, friends, and mentors - to explore the profound impact of collective philanthropy.

Co-hosted by the Society of Women Leaders (SWL) and Rising Women Leaders (RWL), this event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with women from all generations.

In the spirit of collaboration, the funds raised will be pooled together. Members of SWL and RWL will receive a curated shortlist of Australian Red Cross programs to vote on for funding at the 2025 Annual Members Meeting in June.

SWL is a collective of committed women leaders and philanthropists who embrace and engage women in our communities, across the country and around the world and together we:

  • Improve the lives of vulnerable women, children, families and communities

SWL have collectively raised over $6.5 million for ARC initiatives since 2014, resulting in more than $7.2 million when including influenced giving.

In 2024, SWL and ARC launched RWL which is a community of like-minded young women passionate about creating a supportive environment and access to philanthropy.

As a tier of SWL, RWL is the next generation of female leaders who are learning the power of collective giving through supporting causes aligned with members’ values and interests.

The strength of RWL lies not only in its financial contributions but also in nurturing a sense of a female leadership. Our network of young women is dedicated to community support and personal growth.

Your generous support will be consolidated with SWL & RWL membership donations to form a total fund for both domestic and international causes. SWL & RWL members will be presented with a shortlist of Australian Red Cross programs to vote on at the 2025 Annual Members Meeting in June.
