Sometimes it starts with a hug and a chat. When people have gone through the worst day of their lives, they look to Australian Red Cross to be a safe space for them. For their tears, for their worries, and fears about the future.

At times like these, when so much is unknown – what’s left of the house? what’s happened to the neighbours? – there’s a consistent presence – you.
