Global partners

Since 2011, The Coca-Cola Company and the IFRC have enjoyed a global partnership. Together with Coca-Cola bottling partners, The Coca-Cola Company and the Red Cross Red Crescent are working together in over 50 countries. The partnership aims to better engage the public in disaster response, preparedness and the ongoing development and disaster management activities of the Red Cross Red Crescent network.

We are pleased to welcome a new corporate partner for the Healthy Baby Health Community Program – Baby Hub, in Galiwin’ku East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory.

Bayer Australia has committed a three-year corporate donation to Baby Hub to support the health and wellbeing of pregnant women, mothers, children and families in the Galiwin’ku community.

Baby Hub is strongly aligned to Bayer’s vision – Health for all, hunger for none. Funding from Bayer will help to build local capacity and ensure the sustainability of this vital program in the community.

The BHP Foundation works to address some of the most critical global sustainable development challenges facing our generation. Australian Red Cross works in partnership with BHP Foundation in the Managing the Psychosocial impact of Drought on Australian Communities project which aims to support social development and sustainability in Australia.

As one of Australia's leading fully integrated property groups, Charter Hall understands that its business and footprint can be a catalyst for positive change. With the frequency and intensity of climate-related disasters continuing to escalate, Charter Hall is focused on delivering long-term support and capabilities through meaningful community partnerships.

In 2023, Charter Hall became a major partner of Red Cross’ disaster response and recovery program, enabling us to recruit, train and mentor 130 Red Cross Emergency Services volunteers each year, and in turn, strengthen our capacity to provide vital support to impacted communities. The partnership also provides 10 Charter Hall employees each year the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution, by becoming Red Cross Emergency Services volunteers themselves.

Coles has a long history of supporting the communities in which they operate by raising funds for disaster relief. Coles team members and customers support relief efforts by donating funds as well as essential supplies to communities in need. For many years, Coles has supported Australian Red Cross by donating and raising significant funds to various disasters and relief work.
IAG has committed resources and funding in a 10-year partnership with Australian Red Cross to motivate a change in individual and community attitudes towards disaster preparedness. With Australian Red Cross, IAG has researched and designed an app to help people Get Prepared for longer and more severe disaster seasons and other emergencies.

IFM Investors is partnering with Australian Red Cross to help people and communities impacted by disasters in our region and around the world. Through this partnership, IFM Investors provides funding annually to support faster, more efficient, and more effective humanitarian responses.

The long-standing partnership between INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG joint venture and Red Cross’ Safe Hangout for All Kids (SHAK) Youth Hub has contributed to the social and emotional wellbeing of at-risk Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders youth and other young people in the Northern Territory through positive role modelling, mentoring and continued support to develop and realise their aspirations.
We are delighted to announce a three-year strategic partnership with Kimberly-Clark who will be working together with the Galiwin’ku community in East Arnhem Land to support the Healthy Baby Health Community Program – the Galiwin’ku Baby Hub.
Australian Red Cross and Lendlease have joined forces in a three year partnership to support the Katherine community in the Northern Territory. Together, Lendlease and Red Cross will work closely with Katherine residents, harnessing their strengths and skills to tackle local issues. Katherine is one of ten locations around Australia, in which Red Cross and our partners are committed to bringing people together and supporting them with tools and resources so that they can build the communities they want: communities that are vibrant and strong.
Motion Asia Pacific and Australian Red Cross have partnered together to support elderly and isolated people across the country. Through the Red Cross Telecross program Motion are ensuring isolated people receive a daily wellbeing check from a friendly Red Cross volunteer, helping people to live independently in their own homes.

Australia’s largest private rail freight company, Pacific National, and Australian Red Cross have united to care for and create safer communities together.

We know that a connected community is a safe community and our partnership enables Red Cross to sustain our vital work in First Nations communities, adopting a placed-based community–led approach with First Nations Community Disaster Resilience Teams across regional NSW.

Red Cross First Nations Community Disaster Resilience Teams support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities when a disaster strikes, on the long road to recovery and on their journey to create safer communities for the future.

As part of a global network of leading professional services firms, PwC Australia has the opportunity to create a positive impact on important social and environmental issues - through its operations, work with clients, thought leadership and community engagement. A particular area where the firm acknowledges its potential for driving long-term societal impact is strengthening the climate resilience of Australian communities.

In 2023, PwC Australia announced a long-term alliance with Australian Red Cross to support communities in responding and adapting to the impacts of climate change. This alliance will see PwC Australia financially supporting Australian Red Cross climate adaptation humanitarian work across the nation. The collaboration also provides Australian Red Cross with access to the PwC pro/low bono program, an opportunity to leverage the skills and expertise of PwC people to enhance our capacity in addressing strategic priorities.

For decades, Qantas and Australian Red Cross have worked hand-in-hand together to support people in times of need. From sending critical supplies overseas in the 1940s, to aiding the 2019 bushfire response here in Australia, Qantas is a proud and longstanding partner of Australian Red Cross.

In 2024, Qantas announced a new chapter in its support for Australian Red Cross with a multi-million-dollar commitment to strengthen emergency response efforts nationwide. This includes supporting the recruitment and training of 750 new volunteers, who will be able to travel across Australia for humanitarian work, reducing significant costs and enabling a faster support for communities in crisis.

Qantas is also a proud partner of Australian Red Cross’s Trauma Teddy® program – an iconic source of comfort for children and community members facing vulnerability and affected by emergencies like bushfires and floods, with up to 50,000 Trauma Teddies distributed annually.

Reckitt is proud to partner with Australian Red Cross, to help support long-term disaster recovery for Australian communities. With the iconic disinfectant brand Pine O Cleen, together we have launched ‘The Cleen Up Program’.

A multi-year partnership helping to provide financial support to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Response and Recovery Fund and provide cleaning and hygiene product donations to places impacted by an emergency.

Uber and Australian Red Cross have collaborated for nearly a decade, creating a powerful partnership that continues to drive significant social impact. Building on the success of the Uber x Australian Red Cross Clothing Drive, we have expanded our partnership to explore new ways to leverage technology to enhance the delivery of humanitarian services, improving efficiency in reaching those who need it most.

The partnership includes free Uber Rides and Uber Eats which will play a pivotal role in improving access to transport and meals for people facing vulnerability, while also supporting Emergency Services volunteers and staff in disaster response, recovery, resilience efforts and incident management activities. Together, Uber and the Australian Red Cross are amplifying our collective impact, providing long-term support to individuals and communities across Australia.
